Developing Leadership Skills in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

9-10 December 2025

In-person | RCOG, London

Overview

Join us for this comprehensive course which aims to prepare you to be effective leaders in your speciality and wider organisations.

The two-day course will focus on enabling you to become an effective leader, including topics such as: how to lead a safe team, negotiation, resilience, conflict resolution and reviewing the relevance of personality on leadership style (facilitated by completion of a pre-course Myers-Briggs indicator).

This course is in high demand and has limited capacity, so booking promptly is highly recommended to secure your spot and prevent any letdown.

Pre-course work

Attendees are required to complete the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, which will be sent approximately two weeks before the course begins. This assessment will be used for small group discussions throughout the course. To facilitate this, the RCOG will share your title, first name, surname, and email address with an external company for the distribution of the questionnaire and report. For any enquiries regarding this, please contact events@rcog.org.uk.

Attendees will receive recommended pre-course reading materials to review before attending the course.
