Please note, the workshops on the 24 and 25 September are fully booked.
This course was previously known as Benign Abdominal Surgery.
This course consists of two elements:
Gynaecological Abdominal Surgery – The challenges of gynaecological abdominal surgery (online lectures)
Hands-on practical course on essential skills for laparoscopic hysterectomy
This virtual course delivers intensive training in laparoscopic and open surgery for non-malignant gynaecological conditions, blending interactive sessions with case-based discussions.
The practical day focuses on practical skills for laparoscopic hysterectomy, from equipment handling to complex surgical techniques, under the guidance of expert faculty. This comprehensive training is essential for enhancing surgical proficiency.
Registration for these sessions (24 or 25 September) is limited and only available as part of a full conference registration. This meeting is suitable for those undertaking the ‘Benign Abdominal Surgery: open and laparoscopic’ and ‘Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery for benign disease excision’ Advanced Training Skills Modules (ATSM), and supports entry into the ‘Gynaecological Surgical Care’ and ‘Complex Non-Malignant Disease Management’ Special Interest Training Modules (SITMs) for the 2024 curriculum. It also complements the ‘Diagnostic and Operative Hysteroscopy’ meeting by covering theory on hysteroscopic surgery.
Our state-of-the-art virtual events platform allows you to access all online lecture based content on-demand, subject to speaker permissions. The recordings will be available five working days after the event and will remain accessible for six months post-event.
This means you can watch from wherever you are in the world and at a time convenient for you. Your on-demand access means no programme clashes, and saves on travel time and extra arrangements.
This is an excellent, bite-sized approach to learning which supports flexible and accessible educational content for doctors globally.
