Overview

In collaboration with the Royal College of Midwives and Trainetics this practical one-day course is tailored to all healthcare professionals working within maternity and gynaecological services who are looking to enhance team effectiveness and patient safety.

The programme will focus on the core aspects of human factors training, covering multidisciplinary team dynamics, communication strategies and the implementation of safety protocols. 

Facilitated by Trainetics together with multi-specialty clinical leads, this course will incorporate virtual reality scenarios and small group working to focus on key recommendations from recent maternity safety reports.

The course is essential for obstetricians, midwives, neonatologists, obstetric anaesthetists, neonatal nurse and allied healthcare professionals committed to improving patient care through better teamwork and decision-making processes.

Attendees will benefit from hands-on workshops and practical teaching sessions aimed at building skills such as assertive communication, clinical prioritisation and maintaining an awareness of the broader clinical picture.
