Overview

This comprehensive online event has been designed to increase your knowledge and skills in identifying and managing perinatal mental illnesses. Attendees will gain an understanding of the crucial role that integrated care models play in delivering perinatal mental care, as well as effective interventions that can be implemented to manage perinatal mental illness and promote maternal mental health.

The focus of this course will include recognition and management of mental illness during pregnancy and the many aspects, including barriers to access, which make managing pregnancy complicated.

Attendees will experience a dynamic mix of lectures and interactive Q&A sessions and workshops aligned to the HEE PMH Competency Framework objectives.

The event will cover the theoretical component for RCOG training in perinatal mental health.
