The ROBuST training provides practical experience in all forms of assisted vaginal birth, both non-rotational and rotational, to fulfil the OSATS competencies outlined in the RCOG training matrix.

It also serves as an opportunity for new faculty members who wish to conduct the course locally under the RCOG franchised course programme.

It is a recommended course for UK trainees in obstetrics and gynaecology at the ST3 level advancing to ST4, featuring brief lectures and comprehensive practical workshops.

This course is tailored for trainees and trainers unable to attend a local course or those participating from outside the UK.

The course fee includes the ROBuST course manual and a trainer's manual for new instructors.

Availability is limited to 18 trainee places and 8 places for trainers.
