Presentation
Abstracts may be selected for either of the following presentation formats:
- Oral presentation
- Poster presentation
All abstracts will be considered for oral presentation first. Abstracts not selected for oral presentation will automatically be considered for poster presentation.
Only authors named on the submitted abstract are permitted to present the work.
Conference registration requirement
At least one author must be registered for the full conference in order to present either an oral or poster presentation.
Certificates
For abstracts presented at the event, a certificate will be provided only to the main presenting author.
Co-authors will not receive individual certificates.
BJOG publication
All abstracts by authors who are registered for the conference will be published in the BJOG online supplement, unless the authors select ‘opt out’ during the online submission process.
Publication agreement
During submission, you will be asked to confirm whether all authors agree to publication if the abstract is accepted for presentation.
Please ensure that all information included in your abstract is suitable for publication.
Authors and affiliations
Please enter the names and affiliations of all authors exactly as you wish them to appear in the final conference programme.
Before submitting, please check that:
- All author names and affiliations are correct.
- Authors are entered in the correct order.
- All intended authors are included in the submission.
Important
Names omitted from the submission will not appear in the final programme.
Only named authors are permitted to present the work.
Permissions and author declarations
Before submitting, please ensure that all of the following requirements have been met:
- All authors have given permission for the abstract to be submitted.
- Any required patient permission has been obtained.
- All authors are aware of and agree to the content of the submission.
- All authors' agreement to publication has been confirmed where applicable.
Important regulatory declaration
Authors must confirm that they are not currently removed from, or subject to restrictions on, any medical register by a regulator in any country. Authors must notify the RCOG of any changes before the conference. The RCOG reserves the right to withdraw the abstract submission in such circumstances.
