Learning objectives

We hope that the day will raise awareness and knowledge of genomics in O&G, and generate discussion and debate involving clinicians at different career stages. During this course you will:

  • Enhance knowledge of genomics in O&G
  • Understand the genetic predisposition to gynaecological cancer 
  • Understand the use of clinical and molecular genetics in the management of complex pregnancy
  • Increase confidence in the use of genomics in reproductive medicine 
  • Increase confidence in the use of genomics in urogynaecology

Who should attend

This one-day meeting is structured as a generally applicable morning, with subspecialty breakouts in the afternoon. It applies to any clinician involved in the care of women’s health, including:

  • Trainees in O&G and genetics
  • Subspecialty trainees
  • Obstetricians and gynaecologists and clinical geneticists, whether consultants, associate specialists or locally employed doctors
  • Midwives and nurses
  • Physician associates working in women’s health
  • Genetic counsellors
