Learning objectives

At the end of this course, delegates attending will be able to
  • Identify 'normal' parameters for breech pregnancy, labour and birth, and how to recognise deviations from these norms
  • Identify emergent complications during the expulsive phase of a vaginal breech birth and how to determine which interventions are necessary to address them effectively
  • Hands on practice performing manual manoeuvres using a model, for all complications, simulated in both upright and supine maternal birthing positions
