Submitting your abstract
Abstract submissions are only accepted online. Submit your abstract online via Oxfords Abstracts portal by Wednesday 11 February 2026, 9.00am. Submissions are sought in the following categories:

  • Oral Presentation
  • Poster Presentation

All abstracts will be considered for oral Presentations in the first instance. Those not selected will automatically be considered for poster presentation.

  • Please note that only authors named on the abstract are permitted to present the poster. One author must be registered for the full conference in order to present either a poster or an oral presentation.
  • For abstracts presented at the event, certificates are only provided to the main presenting author of the abstract. Co-authors will not receive a certificate
  • Selected presenting authors will be notified if their submission has been successful by Thursday 5 March 2026. If there is a delay in the judging, we may have to postpone notification but if this is the case we will let you know. Notifications are sent to the person who submitted the abstract.

What you will need to complete the online submission

  • The full title of your submission (max 50 words)
  • Your abstract (max 250 words). (i.e. excluding title, authors and institutions).
  • You must use the following headings:
  • For an abstract: Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion
  • For a case report: Background, Case, Conclusion
  • Please ensure that results are given (do not state: ‘results will be presented at the meeting’)
  • Permission from all authors, and any patients, to submit the abstract
  • Names and affiliations of all authors
